  When I was staying in the area with some family of mine, we decided to play tourist and explore more of the Brooklyn area. Since last time we visited NYC we didn't have family in the area, and stayed in Manhattan. We wandered our way into this quaint, but somewhat busy shop. It had a variety of specialty bagels available, which is the main reason why I chose to visit this establishment. The coffee was just an added bonus, and to keep myself warm from the weather. My bagels of chose were two pumpernickel, and two ordinary whole wheat bagels. The whole wheat bagels were average. Fresh tasting, and delicious, but it's difficult to mess up in the first place. The pumpernickel was pretty above average. It was fresh, warm, and just had a full taste that I didn't want to actually swallow. I savored it for as long as I could. nearly choked due to not swallowing it for some time. That's where my plain black coffee, with no cream came in handy. Just substitute the choking with a burning sensation. At least the coffee was equally as enjoyable as the bagels. Would definitely visit again whenever I'm back in town.
