  I thought a month in advance would be plenty of time to get a visa to Brazil, but when I heard the consulate had been on strike and there was a backlog, I needed the best possible agency so that I would have every likelihood of getting my visa on time. I had plane tickets purchased and dozens of people counting on me. The excellent representative Maricel in the New York TDS was straight up with me-- she didn't know if she could get it for me on time-- but she made the appointment with the consulate right away during our first phone call and gave me very clear instructions (instructions that I found to be clearer and more accurate than those provided by other visa agencies I looked into). To my tremendous relief the visa arrived at my door via fedex two weeks early. TDS's customer service via email and phone was more than excellent! Though I was scared to mail off my passport I now know whom to trust and I wouldn't hesitate to use TDS again.
